InvestMidwest forum applications due Friday
Friday is the last day for entrepreneurs to apply to present at the InvestMidwest Venture Capital Forum, one of the Midwest’s largest matchmaking events for executives and owners of high-growth startup companies and investors.
This year’s event will be held March 23-24 in St. Louis.
The annual forum typically selects up to 45 companies in three industry tracks: life sciences, technology/general business and food/agriculture/bioenergy. Companies that are selected to present their businesses are based in the central corridor of the U.S., seek $1 million to $20 million in funding and have revenue projections of $20 million within five years.
Last year’s forum in Kansas City was attended by 300 people, including more than 70 venture capitalists, InvestMidwest said. The organization said since the forum’s inception more than 16 years ago, it has helped generate more than $1 billion in investment for presenting companies.
Applications to present as well as more information on InvestMidwest can be found at www.investmidwestforum.com.
