AT&T has hired a new executive to oversee its greater Midwest region that includes Kansas.

The company said Wednesday it named Tammi Terrell as vice president and general manager of the region that also includes Missouri and southern Illinois.

She replaces Nancy Garvey, who remains with the company but in a different region.

In her new post, Terrell will manage more than 1,200 employees, more than 60 AT&T-owned retail locations and more than 330 national retail partners and authorized resellers.

Terrell is an AT&T veteran of more than 25 years, and was most recently vice president and general manager for AT&T’s Southwest region and Hawaii.

She will be based in St. Louis.
