Heartland Credit Union Association names board

The newly founded Heartland Credit Union Association recently announced its inaugural board of directors, according to a news release.

Member credit unions from Kansas and Missouri — the joint association was formed in October — elected the board members earlier this month.

Members of the 10-person board include James Nastars of Meritrust Credit Union and Jim Holt of Mid American Credit Union, according to the release. Board members were chosen for positions in two categories: geography and assets of institution, the release said. Each member credit union had the ability to cast two votes in the two categories.

Other members of the board are John Beverlin (Mainstreet Credit Union), Rick Nichols (River Region Credit Union), Randal Yeck (Vantage Credit Union), Brenda Kliewer (McPherson Co-Op Credit Union), Kirk Mondy (Ozark Federal Credit Union), Judy Hadsall (CU Community Credit Union), Chris McCreary (United Consumers Credit Union) and Lisa Ginter (CommunityAmerica Credit Union).
