Home sales dip in November, remain slightly higher for year
November home sales in the Wichita area fell 3.5 percent compared with the same month last year, according to a South Central Kansas Multiple Listing Service report released Tuesday.
The report said 638 new and existing homes were sold last month, compared with 661 in November 2013.
Despite the decline, the area’s year-to-date home sales remain slightly higher than the same period last year.
The report said 8,422 homes have been sold in the first 11 months of the year compared with 8,333 in the same period in 2013.
