Walmart Neighborhood Market to open in Clearwater

A Walmart Neighborhood Market will open Wednesday in Clearwater.

The Neighborhood Market is smaller than many Wal-Mart stores, but it does include a grocery and pharmacy, as well as toys, electronics, home decor and other products typically found at Wal-Mart stores. It also will have a fuel station.

Located at 900 E. Ross, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

It will employ about 30, including full-time and part-time positions. Danny Ramhi, who started with Wal-Mart in 2009 as a store manager in Augusta, will be the manager of the new store.
