Entercom agrees to buy 13 radio stations for $105 million
Entercom Communications, the owner of five Wichita radio stations, said Monday it has agreed to buy 13 radio stations in four cities from Lincoln Financial Group.
Entercom said the deal, valued at $105 million including working capital, includes radio stations in Atlanta, Denver, Miami and San Diego.
The stations are owned by Lincoln Financial Media, a unit of Lincoln Financial Group.
The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015, pending Federal Communications Commission and other approvals.
Pennsylvania-based Entercom said the acquisition will increase its portfolio of radio stations to more than 130 in 26 markets.
In Wichita, Entercom owns Power 93.5, 103.7 KEYN, 105.3 the Buzz, Sports Radio KFH and NewsRadio 1330.
