Kansas Livestock Association to hold annual meeting this week

The Kansas Livestock Association will hold its annual meeting Wednesday through Friday at Century II and the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The association expects about 800 ranchers and their families, as well as other association members.

There will be a trade show in the convention center, and seminars and speakers in the meeting rooms. Speakers will include Nina Teicholz, who will discuss her book, “The Big Fat Surprise: Why Butter, Meat and Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet,” and Wal-Mart executive Brittni Furrow, who will tell association members how her company is working to source sustainably produced goods.
