WSU to dedicate upgraded lab to study electrical power
Wichita State University and Westar officials will dedicate WSU’s Westar Energy power systems lab at an event that begins at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The project is an upgrade of the School of Engineering’s existing power lab in room 315/316 of Wallace Hall.
Westar donated $125,000 to rewire and expand the lab for new equipment and tools to teach students about smart grids, power quality and advanced system modeling.
