Voloch to serve as interim CEO at Wesley
Bill Voloch will serve as the interim CEO at Wesley Medical Center as a nationwide search for a replacement to Hugh Tappan is conducted.
Voloch, who has 14 years in the health care industry, has served as Wesley’s chief operations officer since 2013.
He has been instrumental in the development of the Wesley EmergencyCare Network and a number of capital projects, according to a news release from Wesley.
Tappan was recently promoted to president of HCA’s South Atlantic Division. HCA is the parent company of Wesley.
Voloch served as the chief financial officer at the Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado before joining Wesley. And prior to joining HCA, he was employed at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago, according to the release.
Voloch graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Regis University.
He and his wife, Juli, have five children, three sons and two daughters.
