Bradley Fair’s tree lighting is set for Saturday
Bradley Fair will kick off the holiday season Saturday with its tree-lighting ceremony.
The event, which is marking its 12th year, is a benefit for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Wichita, according to a news release from Bradley Fair.
The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday with Christmas carols sung by the Collegiate Madrigal Choir. The lighting ceremony for a 35-foot tree will begin about 5:45 p.m.
The event also includes an opportunity to have a photo taken with Santa if a donation is made to the Ronald McDonald House charity.
Also starting Saturday, Bradley Fair will offer free, horse-drawn carriage rides. The carriage rides will be offered every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m., through Saturday, Dec. 20.
