The developer of the Offices at Cranbrook office park in northeast Wichita said Wednesday that it has signed a second tenant for its third and largest building, which is under construction.
Occidental Management president Chad Stafford said the Center for Women’s Health will occupy 5,000 square feet of the 46,000-square-foot, two-story building at Cranbrook, 10111 E. 21st St.
“I think it’s a beautiful office park and it’s got great patient visibility right off of 21st Street,” said Sharon Breit, an obstetrician/gynecologist who founded the practice in 2001. “I’m excited to be part of their project.”
Breit says having a “blank slate” will allow her to design an office that’s more efficient and with a larger procedure room.
She said the Center for Women’s Health is currently in Wilson Estates Medical Office Park, where it has been since 2006.
Stafford said the $4.08 million building will be completely enclosed in the next two weeks, allowing interior work to begin.
He said it should be ready to occupy in April. The building’s other tenant will be Performance Health, a tenant in Cranbrook’s first building that is growing and needs more office space.
The contractor for the building is Sauerwein Construction and the architect is Spangenberg Phillips Tice.
Work on the Offices at Cranbrook began in 2012. The third building is the largest of the park’s buildings, with the first two comprising 12,240 square feet and 10,800 square feet.
Stafford said Occidental has plans to eventually add a fourth building that will be about 10,000 square feet.
The Center for Women’s Health lease was handled by Stafford.
