Grand opening

Fairchild Interiors and Design at 419 State St. in Augusta plans to hold a three-day grand opening to mark its expansion and re-branding of the retail portion of the business to Robinson’s on State. The grand opening will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Robinson’s on State sells home furnishings and decor, while Fairchild offers interior design services. HopeLine from Verizon awarded a $5,000 grant to the YWCA Wichita-Women’s Crisis Center to support its “Heroes: Take a Stand Against Domestic Violence” campaign.

DaVita Wichita Dialysis Center will donate $3,000 to Catholic Charities in Wichita.

Recognized

Wesley Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation program has earned a three-year recertification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The hospital also was named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by the Joint Commission, an accreditor of health care organizations.

Bischler Team of Keller Williams Signature Partners recently received the distinguished Top Performing Team Award at the real estate company’s monthly award event.
