Only balcony seats remain for Koch appearance at Chamber event
Tickets for the dinner and loge program seating for the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting are sold out, according to a news release.
A crowd of close to 1,850 is expected for the dinner Nov. 2 at Century II, which is scheduled to feature Koch Industries chairman and CEO Charles Koch and MSNBC personalities Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
Tickets for balcony seating for the program are, however, still available and can be purchased online for $35, according to the release.
“Charles Koch is someone from our own city,” said Angie Elliott, the chamber’s director of business services, in the release. “One of the most successful businessmen in the world is drawing the largest crowd in the history of the event.”
Scarborough and Brzezinski, hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program, are slated to interview Koch on-stage during the program, which will run from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. MSNBC will also broadcast the television program the next day from Wichita.
