Southeast Wichita apartment complex owner files for bankruptcy
The company owning the Longfellow Apartments, 1212 S. Longfellow, just northwest of the Harry and Rock Road intersection, has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization.
James Rainbolt of Signal Hill, Calif., is listed as the managing partner of the company, 4522 Katella Avenue LLC, which is based in Long Beach, Calif.
The value of the two apartment buildings containing 72-units is between $1 million and $10 million, according to the filing.
According to the suit, which was filed Friday, the company owes at least $2.5 million, mostly to California-based creditors.
