Occidental to add audio retailer at Central Plaza

A new audio store is set to open later this year in the Crown Heights area, according to a Wichita developer.

Chad Stafford, president of Occidental Management, said the firm recently signed a lease agreement with the ownership of Pure Sound Plus, a commercial and residential audio systems and home theater provider. The store, which Stafford said is expected to open before Thanksgiving, will be at Central Plaza, 5231 E. Central, and will feature about 2,700 square feet of space.

Stafford said Pure Sound Plus owner Jeff White has primarily been operating his business out of his home. Occidental CEO Gary Oborny brokered the lease agreement.
