Five things to know for Exposure 2015
The Wichita Chamber of Commerce’s annual business networking event Exposure is expected to draw more than 200 exhibitors Thursday at Century II Expo Hall.
The all-day function begins at 10 a.m.
Though the name of the event has changed over the years, the 2015 affair will mark the 11th consecutive year the chamber has hosted a business networking experience. The event will feature 208 registered exhibitors with close to 30 percent of those being first-timers, according to chamber officials.
Here are five things to know if you go.
1. Admission is free, though attendees need to print off a ticket from the chamber’s website (www.wichitachamber.org) and bring it. A free ticket can also be found in Thursday’s print edition of The Eagle’s Business Today section.
2. Metered parking is available in the Century II lot, but expo-goers can also park for free at the Lawrence-Dumont Stadium lot and ride a shuttle (runs every seven to 10 minutes) to Expo Hall.
3. A luncheon featuring Texas-based marketing guru Jeff Sieh is available at a cost of $40. Sieh is expected to talk about the importance of “creating and cross-promoting effective visual content” in order to generate business leads in the digital era, according to the chamber. Attendees at Sieh’s talk will need to pre-register on the chamber’s website.
4. Door prizes to be given away at the event include Wichita State University men’s basketball tickets, free hotel stays and $100 Visa gift cards, according to the chamber.
5. Between 1,500 and 1,700 business professionals ages 18 or older are expected to attend.
