Groundbreaking set next week for manufacturing building, industrial park

Plastic components manufacturer Reiloy Westland Corp. will hold a groundbreaking on Tuesday for its planned 55,000-square-foot building, which also will mark the opening of the Maize Industrial Park.

The ceremony has been set for 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of 53rd North and 119th West in Maize.

Officials from Reiloy Westland, which was acquired by German company Reifenhäuser Gruppe in 2012, said the new building will accommodate its future growth, new machinery and the hiring of 15 additional employees over the next five years.

The new industrial park is owned and being developed by Dave and Deborah Larson.
