Nonprofits to be topic of WSU business forum
A panel discussion on applying business strategies to nonprofit organizations is scheduled at 3 p.m. Nov. 13 at Wichita State University.
WSU’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Meritrust Credit Union will host the last forum of the fall 2014 lineup with a forum entitled “Innovative Approaches to Benefit Society: The Future of Social Entrepreneurship.”
The forum is free, open to the public and will be held in Devlin Hall, Room 107, on the WSU main campus.
Wichitans active in nonprofit organizations will talk about applying lessons learned in their business careers to nonprofit organizations. Panelists include Brian Black, corporate public affairs manager, Spirit AeroSystems; Yolanda Camerena, board president of Kansas Hispanic Education and Development Foundation; and Bob Lutz, Wichita Eagle sports columnist and founder of League 42.
