Dillons Fuel Center has opened at Central and Maize. The new center has five fuel pumps with service for 10 vehicles. A service kiosk at the center sells items such as cold beverages, candy bars, lottery tickets, cigarettes and newspapers. The fuel center offers 24-hour access to pumps; the kiosk is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
New name
Hutchinson Credit Union will change its name to Heartland Credit Union on Monday. Officials of the $225 million credit union, which operates a Wichita branch inside the Farm Credit building downtown, said the name change will be made because more than half of its members live outside Hutchinson and 45 percent live outside Reno County.

Wichita-based online golf retailer tgw.com has launched a new website and logo.
Recognized
The National Funeral Directors Association recognized Smith Family Mortuary with its 2014 Pursuit of Excellence Award. Only 151 firms in the world earned this award, placing it among the top 2 percent of funeral service providers.
Charity
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide’s Wichita Customer Contact Center will participate in a series of projects to increase volunteerism by employees. Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 21, its Wichita workers will participate in: the Red Cross “Totes For Hope” program to support American veterans; a Red Cross blood drive at the Wichita Customer Contact Center; a day of service at the Lord’s Diner, where Starwood employees will volunteer at both diner locations and food trucks; and a food drive to benefit the Kansas Food Bank.
