New McDonald’s to open at 21st and Greenwich

A new McDonald’s will open at 21st and Greenwich Wednesday, according to a news release.

Owners and operators Matt and Beth Raper will open the restaurant at 5 a.m., marking their sixth McDonald’s location.

The Rapers moved to the area when they built their first McDonald’s at Tallgrass at 21st and Rock in 1989. They also operate three other Wichita McDonald’s as well as franchises in Andover and Haysville.

A number of events and specials are planned through the first 10 days to celebrate the opening.
