Dickey’s barbecue to open on North Maize Road

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will open at 11 a.m. Thursday at 2768 N Maize Road.

The Texas-style barbecue restaurant is the fourth to be owned by Ryan Wenrich, according to a news release. Wenrich also owns a Dickey’s in Topeka and two in Missouri.

The business plans a number of promotions and give-aways during its first three days in business.
