Octogenarians head to the office for variety of reasons

Cool ocean breezes and warm white sand.

Lush green golf courses and afternoon siestas.

Bucket lists and grandbabies.

These are the things retirement dreams are made of – for those who want to stop working, that is.

While some people count the days till they can quit, others keep going to the office. It’s not out of necessity either.

Some want to keep wheeling and dealing.

Others want to remain active or around lots of people.

Still others simply don’t like the alternatives.

Whatever the reasons, these office octogenarians aren’t going anywhere.

A look at four of them in recognition of the upcoming Labor Day holiday:
