F. James Robinson Jr., a senior partner with the law firm of Hite, Fanning and Honeyman, has been honored by the Kansas Bar Association with its Distinguished Service Award.

Laura Ice, deputy general counsel at Textron, has been honored by the Kansas Bar Association with its Professionalism Award.

Organizations

At the Civitan Club of Wichita’s recent awards and installation dinner Alan Lindal was awarded the Civitan of the Year Award. Others recognized with awards were: Ed O’Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center, was named Citizen of the Year; and Mike Santana and Rose Santana of the Little Saigon Restaurant were recognized for their participation in Civitan’s Candy Box Project.

The Civitan Club of Wichita has announced its officers for the 2014-2015 year: John Rodda, president; Harold Connell, president-elect and treasurer; and Janet Elliott, secretary. Board of directors include Colin Busey, Kay Brannon, Dianne Coleman and Larry White.
