Economic outlook conference speakers announced

Bank of the West’s chief economist will be one of two featured speakers at the Wichita Area Economic Outlook Conference in October, organizers said Tuesday.

Scott Anderson, chief economist and senior vice president for Bank of the West, will be speaking on the U.S. and global economies at the conference, organized by Wichita State University’s Center for Economic Development and Business Research.

Ted Jones, chief economist and senior vice president for Stewart Title Guaranty Co., also will speak at the event, to be held from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 1 in the Century II Convention Hall.
