Corps of Engineers to host contracting workshop
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host an informational meeting later this month for businesses that might have interest in government contract work, according to a news release.
The meeting is scheduled to take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m. July 29 at the National Center for Aviation Training auditorium, 4004 N. Webb.
The Corps of Engineers said it is seeking contract services in construction, mowing, janitorial work, tree and building maintenance, fencing, debris removal, equipment maintenance and electrical work at lakes across south-central and southeast Kansas, according to the release.
Registration begins at 1 p.m. the day of the event.
