Pet sitters consider networking group

Area residents who operate pet-sitting businesses are invited to a meeting to discuss a possible networking organization.

Cindy Hixson, who owns Man’s Second Best Friend Pet Sitting Service, is organizing the meeting, which will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside.

Hixson said that with the holidays coming up, she hopes the group can discuss not only the possible formation of a networking group, but also ideas for raising awareness about the services offered in the area.
