If you live in the Wichita area, you now may have the option to get faster internet access.

Telecommunications giant AT&T introduced faster internet speed services in some areas of Wichita and Hutchinson on Monday.

The company says 2 gig and 5 gig fiber internet plans are now available in its existing fiber internet footprint. AT&T says the move comes as more people work from home.

The company says you can check your area for availability by visiting att.com/fiberfast. The website will ask for your address.

AT&T says it will continue to build its fiber footprint in the Wichita-Hutchinson area, among other cities in Kansas in 2022.
