Kansas’ personal income rate grows 0.3 percent
The federal Bureau of Economic Analysis said Monday that Kansas’ personal income rate grew 0.3 percent between the fourth quarter of 2014 and the first quarter of 2015.
BEA said average state personal income grew 0.9 percent in the same period.
Kansas’ 0.3 percent rate ranked the state 46th in personal income growth in the period.
BEA said Florida had the fastest personal income growth, at 1.3 percent. The rate fell in four states, with Iowa posting the largest decline, at -1.2 percent.
