Legend Senior Living acquires five Texas centers
Legend Senior Living said Tuesday that it has acquired five assisted living and memory care facilities in Texas previously operated by Signature Senior Living.
Wichita-based Legend did not disclose financial terms of the deal. It said the facilities are in the cities of Grapevine, Denton, Flower Mound, Rockwall and Coppell. Together, the facilities represent 375 units, Legend said in a news release.
All of the facilities have been built in the past four years, the company said.
The acquisition builds upon Legend’s assisted living residence in Fort Worth, which it opened in May.
Legend, which operates 35 senior housing and care residences in five states, said it continues to expand in Texas with additional acquisitions and development of new facilities.
