Casey’s General Store undergoes big change to support its new ‘modern guest experience’

Casey’s General Store is about to look a little different.

The gas station and convenience store chain announced Thursday that it would be dropping “General Store” from its name, and will be known only as Casey’s.

The company’s logo will also undergo a transformation, featuring a red silhouette of the Casey’s barn with its new name written in white lettering.

“For half a century, Casey’s logo has stood as a beacon for good food, convenience and community in the lives of the neighbors, friends and family that our committed team members serve every day,” CEO Darren Rebelez said in a news release.

“Embracing this heritage, we are proud to remain at the heart of every community we serve as we give guests and communities even more reasons to shop at Casey’s.”

Casey’s said the brand update is part of an effort to drive a new “modern guest experience,” which includes a recently launched loyalty program, expanded digital services and curbside pickup.

The company said it will soon start rolling out the new branding across stores and online, but didn’t say when the transformation will be complete.
