Jeff Grier named president of contractor UCI

Jeff Grier has been named president of Wichita contractor UCI, taking the title from his father, Chuck Grier.

As president, Jeff Grier will concentrate on daily operations, communications and contract negotiations. Most recently he held the title of executive vice president. Chuck Grier will remain as chairman and CEO and focus more on strategic planning.

Jeff Grier joined the company in 2003 and helped re-brand Utility Contractors, Inc. into UCI. He is involved in business plan development, safety, customer relations and developing new and more efficient operating procedures, policies, goals and objectives.

Established in 1950, UCI is a multi-discipline general contractor specializing in heavy and industrial construction. UCI has projects throughout the country, particularly in the Midwest.
