Seminar to focus on teaming up for government contracts
Small businesses interested in partnering with other businesses to pursue government contracts are invited to a seminar Oct. 14.
The session – The Ins and Outs of Joint Ventures and Teaming – is being offered by the Procurement and Technical Assistance Center at Wichita State.
It runs from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 14, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th North, Room 180.
The free session is being sponsored by WSU and the City of Wichita. Government contracts attorney Steven Koprince will lead the session, which will include discussion of best practices for joint ventures and prime/subcontractor teaming. There also will be information on mandatory and recommended contractual provisions and subcontracting limits.
