Koch, Flint Hills make $100,000 donation to Red Cross

Koch Industries and Flint Hills Resources have donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to support people in Texas who have been affected by tornadoes and floods.

“With more than 7,600 employees in Texas, Koch companies have many employees whose families and friends have been affected by the severe weather,” Mark Nichols, vice president of public affairs for Koch Cos. Public Sector, said in a news release Thursday. “Texas is our home, too, and we want to do our part to help take care of our community when they need it most.”

Both Koch Industries and Flint Hills Resources have headquarters in Wichita.
