Ambassador Hotel gets Four Diamond rating from AAA

The Ambassador Hotel in Kansas has been named a Four Diamond property by the auto club AAA.

It’s the only hotel in Kansas with such a rating, according to a news release from the hotel group.

According to AAA, the Ambassador Hotel, 104 S. Broadway, is among the hotels that are designated as “Refined and stylish with upscale physical attributes that reflect enhanced quality throughout.” Of the 29,000 hotels approved by AAA inspectors, 5.3 percent get the Four Diamond rating, according to the AAA website.

“We are thrilled that the Ambassador Hotel in Wichita is recognized for its modern elegance and exceptional guest experience,” said Sheila Cole, general manager or the Ambassador Hotel Wichita.

Last month, the hotel finalized a deal to become part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
