Polka Dot networking company starts Wichita chapter
A national business networking company for women has opened a chapter in Wichita.
Polka Dot Powerhouse uses a mix of social media, monthly meetings and events to bring together women interested in growing professionally and personally, according to an e-mail from Wichita chapter managing director Kathy Draper.
Polka Dot currently has 47 chapters in 19 states. The Wichita chapter is the first in Kansas, Draper said.
There is a fee to join, but anyone is welcome to attend a monthly meeting free as a guest as a way to learn more about the group.
The next local meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. June 15 in at Watermark Books & Cafe. Each meeting is limited to 30 members and guests. The speaker will be Debi A. Johnson of Lightworks, who practices transformation hypnotherapy and mind coaching.
