Education

Kimberly Moore has been named director of Wichita State University’s Office for Workforce, Professional and Community Education, formerly known as the Office of Continuing Education. Moore had served as the interim director of the WSU Office of Continuing Education since October 2014.

Richard Campbell, a private wealth adviser with Stoutheart Financial Group, was among 500 people invited to attend Barron’s Top Independent Advisors Summit in Scottsdale, Ariz., in March.

Keith Lawing, president and CEO of Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas, has been appointed to the Wichita Transit Advisory Board.

Manufacturing

Rod Henricks, director of sales for Bunting Magnetics in Newton, has been named to the board of directors of the Process Equipment Manufacturers Association, a trade association representing manufacturers that supply equipment and systems to many different processing industries. Henricks, who also chairs the PEMA membership committee, will serve a three-year board term.

Nonprofits

Sherri Rawlins, an associate professor of special education for Associated Colleges of Central, has been named to the board of directors of Arrowhead West.

Sales

Rose Bunton and Christine Watkins, Avon representatives, have been recognized by Avon as being among the top representatives in the United States and were awarded a trip to Los Angeles in March.
