New owner
Jeff Lange, managing partner of Jeff Lange Real Estate and RedGuard, has acquired B.E.L.T. Inc., which provides leasing services for business equipment such as manufacturing machinery, computers, office equipment, construction equipment, medical and automotive equipment. The business, renamed BELT Leasing, will continue to be managed by Richard Belt, who founded it in 1993.
Anniversary
Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center will mark 20 years in operation in May.
Charity
Nine local and visiting site leaders from the North America division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide volunteered at the downtown Lord’s Diner on April 1 as part of the company’s Starwood Cares for the Community initiative. Through the initiative, Starwood’s Wichita staff has volunteered more than 500 hours at 78 different events in the past eight months.
