Longtime paint store Andrew Inc. sold to Spectrum

Andrew Inc., a longtime paint store at 2310 E. Douglas, has become a Spectrum Paint location.

The business, which was founded in 1948, has been sold to Spectrum Paint North, according to a news release from the Spectrum company.

“Spectrum Paint is very excited about coming to Wichita and we are anxious to build on the legacy that Andrew Inc. has developed over the past 67 years,” said Travis Detter, Spectrum Paint president.

The company said it would continue to carry Benjamin Moore paints as well as Spectrum’s private label products.

Spectrum Paint Company has more than 50 stores in seven states.
