PowderTech celebrates completion of new production line

PowderTech is celebrating the completion of a new powder-coating line and paint booth with a ribbon-cutting event Tuesday.

PowderTech, which has 60,000 square feet of production space at its powder-coating facility at 800 E. 37th St. North, said the new state-of-the-art, automated line and paint booth can process high volumes and large parts – including parts that are 10 feet long and up to 84 inches tall.

According to the company’s website PowderTech is the largest powder-coating firm in south-central Kansas.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will start at 11:30 a.m. An open house will follow, and the company will give tours of its facilities until 4 p.m.
