IMA Wichita’s Jeff Grace gets a second title of president
IMA Wichita president Jeff Grace now has two titles at the commercial insurance brokerage and risk management company.
Grace also has been named president of Signature Select, a subsidiary of IMA Financial Group that provides commercial and retail insurance brokerage services to small businesses.
“Jeff’s vast experience in retail insurance will bring a new perspective to Signature Select’s focus of supporting personal and small-business clients,” IMA Inc. president Bob Reiter said in a news release Friday.
Grace joined IMA in 1997 and was named president of IMA Wichita in 2009. That was also the same year that Signature Select was started. Signature Select has more than 50 employees in Colorado, Kansas, New York, Oklahoma and Texas.
Grace replaces Luke Proctor at Signature Select, who he said has moved to director of finance at IMA Financial.
“He took it through that first life cycle and did, by all accounts, a phenomenal job,” Grace said in an interview Friday.
Grace said he’d like to double Signature Select’s business in the next six to seven years, which would be in line with IMA Financial’s Vision 2020 growth plan.
“Each one of the businesses (within IMA Financial) has defined expectations,” Grace said, adding that the parent company and its subsidiaries employ more than 620 people.
He said there remains a lot of opportunities to grow Signature Select because there are a lot more small companies than large ones.
“The market opportunity is huge,” he said.
