BBB to offer session on dangers of identity theft
The Better Business Bureau Foundation is helping to sponsor a session on the dangers of identity theft in Wichita on April 16.
The session is aimed at consumers and businesses and will cover both ID theft detection and protection, according to a news release from the BBB Foundation.
The session will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 16 at the Wichita Area Builders Association, 730 N. Main.
Someone who has had his identity stolen will talk about the professional and personal fallout from the crime. There also will be a discussion about how to safeguard information that could be used to steal your identity, as well as advice on what to do if you become a victim of ID theft.
