Property sale
Berkadia of Kansas City, Mo., negotiated the sale of Forrest Grove Apartments, a 132-unit complex at 6747 W. Par Lane, north of Ridge Road between Maple and Central. Denver-based Pauls Corp. purchased the complex from Maxus Properties in North Kansas City, Mo., for an undisclosed price.

Westar Energy is donating a 2008 Chevrolet extended cab, four-wheel drive work truck valued at more than $11,000 to Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland. The donation will be used to haul heavy equipment between Girl Scout properties, including camps.
