Wichita’s John Bouddhara, who drives for FedEx, won a state title at the 2017 Kansas Truck Driving Championship held earlier this month. He has earned an opportunity to compete in the National Truck Driving Championships in Orlando, Fla., in August.

Wichita Collegiate School has hired Daneen Simoneau as associate director, Department of College Counseling.
Health Care
Shelley Duncan will be the new executive director of the Central Plains Health Care Partnership, beginning July 31. The partnership runs the Project Access program, which coordinates medical care for low-income, uninsured residents of Sedgwick County.
Law
America’s Top 100 Attorneys has honored Dan Monnat and Sal Intagliata of Monnat & Spurrier with Lifetime Achievement designations. Monnat, the firm’s president, received the designation in the practice areas of Appellate Law, Criminal Defense Litigation and White-Collar Criminal Defense. Intagliata received his designation in the area of Criminal Defense Litigation.
Jennifer Hill, a Wichita attorney, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Kansas Board of Examiners of Court Reporters by Chief Justice Lawton Nuss of the Kansas Supreme Court. The board supervises the granting of certificates of eligibility for certified court reporters, oversees conduct of court reporters and reviews and acts on any complaints made against a certified court reporter.

Nonprofits
Sunlight Children’s Advocacy and Rights Foundation has announced two new members of its board of directors: Brandon Wilson (Icon Structures) and Shawn Bauman (Allen, Gibbs & Houlik). They join board members Lee Butler (Textron Aviation), Randy Coffman (Fact Finding Ministry), Susan Koslowsky (Emprise Bank), Kellie Nesmith (SunGroup Real Estate), Lindsay Sanner (Real Life Counseling) and Leah Tuten (community member).
The organization also elected the following officers for one-year terms: Cindy Miles, president (Nonprofit Chamber of Service); Tim Kice, vice president (Kice Industries); Matt Morris, treasurer (BKD); and Terry Huelskamp, secretary (Law Office of Terrence L. Huelskamp).
