Mikel Stout, a senior partner with Foulston Siefkin of Wichita, was elected chair of the Kansas Supreme Court Nominating Commission by attorneys in a statewide election.
Gloria Farha Flentje, former senior vice president for Spirit AeroSystems, was elected as an attorney member of the Kansas Supreme Court Nominating Commission, representing the 4th Congressional District.
The Wichita Bar Association has installed its officers and board members for 2017-2018. The new officers are: David Seely, Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson & Kitch, president; John Rapp, Hinkle Law Firm, president-elect; Rebecca Mann, Young, Bogle, McCausland, Wells & Blanchard, vice president, and C. The Wichita American Marketing Association has announced the four category winners for Marketer of the Year. An overall Marketer of the Year will be selected Thursday at the group’s awards luncheon. The category winners are: Andy McFayden of Wichita Area Technical College (Nonprofit); Jessica Pianalto of PetroChoice (Corporate); Jeremy Luginbill of Lifeboat Creative (Agency), and the team at VIP Wichita Magazine (Media), a publication of The Wichita Eagle.
