Wichita manufacturing group marks centennial

The Wichita Manufacturers Association will mark its 100th year at an event from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the National Center for Aviation Training, 4004 N. Webb.

Former Spirit AeroSystems chief executive Jeff Turner and Wichita Mayor Jeff Longwell will speak at the celebration, which will include exhibits from more than 20 companies including Redguard and Case New Holland.

Organizers are expecting more than 200 people to attend the event.
