Start up a business at Riverfest
Aspiring young entrepreneurs can get a taste of developing and marketing a product during the River Festival at the e2e FuturEpreneurship Expo, scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wichita Boathouse, 515 S. Wichita.
Children and teenagers can design products using computers or other materials, and then pitch them to organizers. Every participant earns a T-shirt.
The expo was created with help from DECA, Camp Destination Innovation, EmpowerHer and K-8 Do Entrepreneurship initiative, among others.
