Moran to speak at electric cooperative meeting in Wellington

U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran will speak at the annual meeting of the Sumner-Cowley Electric Co-Op on Saturday.

The event begins at 1 p.m. at Wellington High School, 1700 E. 16th St. in Wellington, according to the senator’s office.

The electric cooperative has its headquarters in Wellington. It’s one of 27 distribution electric cooperatives in the state.
