Wink Hartman’s Vintage Bank to acquire Whitewater bank

Bank of Whitewater’s owners are selling to Vintage Bank.

The owners of the 126-year-old bank 30 miles northeast of Wichita and led by Donald Patry announced the sale in a news release.

Bank of Whitewater has a single office and $20 million in assets. Vintage Bank has five offices in Butler and Sedgwick counties with $99 million in assets. Its Wichita-based holding company, Vintage Bancorp, is owned by Wink and Libba Hartman and Steve Worrell.

The sale is expected to close later this year following regulatory approval.
