Chamber names next Leadership Wichita class
The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce has named its 2014 Leadership Wichita class, a program aimed at developing professionals for leadership roles within their companies and the community.
The 30 professionals, selected through a nomination process and applications made to the Leadership Wichita board of trustees, will attend eight training sessions over three months. The sessions cover such topics as economic and workforce development, and the importance of consensus within government.
The 2014 class will attend its first session Thursday.
