A survey by employment agency Manpower shows Wichita employers overall expect to hire at a decent pace in the second quarter, which starts April 1.

In the survey, 14 percent of employers said they expect to add workers, while 4 percent said they expected to cut jobs – for a net 10 percent of employers planning to add workers. Most employers said they expect to remain at current staffing levels.

The net increase is down from the first quarter’s results, but up slightly from the second quarter of 2014.
